Lost does seem like the wrong word. These words seem like better words:
Unsteady
Reflective
Unsure
Contemplative
Frustrated
Excited
Anxious
Wary
Analytical
Thoughtful
The word I need is there but I cannot quite find it.
A lot has happened of late. It’s been quite a hectic start to 2013. If you told me that we are only 4 months into the year then I just wouldn’t believe you but I have just checked a calendar and I am informed that it is in fact true. Unless calendars are out to get me as part of a big government conspiracy? No? No.
It’s been busy. I set up a a semi-business, sold valentine’s day cards, contemplated self-employment, started doing art again, started thinking creatively again, started a new blog, started a 365 photo challenge, completed multiple office, graphics and marketing jobs, worked freelance, visited England (for 6-7 weeks!), spent time with my family, drove in a foreign country, which wasn’t a foreign country, organised and sorted out the first 23 years of my life into two large plastic boxes, had a flight cancelled because of a blizzard, landed in the U.S., went through U.S. immigration, was told ‘Welcome Home’ at Canadian Immigration, saw so many friends, ate at Pizza Express and managed to see my parents and, I think, help them out a bit.
I cannot believe I’ve done so much.
Yet, I feel like a new phase is needed. England helped me find closure with the whole ‘straddling two countries’ issue. I feel like my life still needs more purpose and that’s what’s going to happen. If they’re even half as productive as these last few months then I can only expect good things.
Wish me luck.

So, it’s been pretty silent on here recently. I know, I’ve been really bad. But, it’s because I moved my blog to another, more exciting location:
It is, in essence, this blog with more focus. I am still debating on whether to keep this blog going, or whether to move on. However, if you are on Google Connect or Blog Lovin’, come and check it out. Stick around and drink some tea.
Lots of love to all the awesome followers I had when I wrote this blog. It meant the world to me that you followed me so closely.

365 Challenge – Day 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11

Some of the days are private, and I’m not willing to share them but I am keeping up to date with it all. I think I’ve only missed one day because I just could not be bothered. I’m finding it pretty hard to keep up to date with all of these uploads. I am slowly filling up the walls in my room with these pictures, or the ones that I want to share, anyway.
The snow has finally started melting in Prescott, so our backgarden is back to looking like it actually has a pool, instead of a slide just hovering over a ditch like thing. I cannot believe we had so much snow, it was definitely a change from Alberta. The snow just stayed snowy, it didn’t really continue to freeze and I have not needed to layer up in the same way, it’s been rather nice.

365 Challenge – Day 4 and 5
Posted: 05/01/2013 Filed under: Arty, Goals | Tags: 365 Challenge, photo 4 Comments »I was pretty sick yesterday and I was a little better today, although it was quiet. I am still getting into the stride with this. It is difficult to decide which pictures to take, when. Still, I am enjoying it, even going so far as to join yet another social networking site. At this rate, I’m going to need a social networking site to keep up with my social networks, sigh. Flikr, you have one chance to impress.

365 Challenge – Day 1, 2 and 3
Posted: 03/01/2013 Filed under: Arty, Goals | Tags: 365 Challenge, cat, drawing, photo Leave a comment »The point of my 365 challenge, which you can read about here, is that I am taking pictures and/or using an index card to represent things that I am grateful for, to document my year, and to document 365 days toward me being creative and exploring my potential. Sounds kinda like hard work, but I am going to do it anyway, better yet, I’m going to document it here. Some days will be better than others, I know there will be days when I do not have time to edit, and I don’t have much time beyond writing a word or even thinking about being creative, but the challenge remains, and, will, no doubt reflect who I am and what I want from the project. Feel free to enjoy it, comment on it, discuss it and generally just enjoy it!
